It gave me flexibility, financial stability, dream clients, and the confidence to build a career that actually feels aligned with who I am. And now, I want to help other stylists do the same.
My goal is to help you unlock your creativity and feel inspired by your own work again. Because when you feel confident behind the chair everything shifts. You create better work, you trust yourself more, and you give yourself permission to evolve.
And evolution can feel vulnerable. It requires letting go of what feels safe, stepping into the unknown, and being willing to grow before you feel fully ready. But that space? That’s where the real transformation happens.
And while color theory may not feel like the most exciting part of our industry, it is one of the most powerful tools a colorist can master. It’s the foundation that creates confidence.

A deep dive into formulation, pH, and creating rich, predictable brunette results behind the chair. If you’ve ever second-guessed a formula or felt like you’re guessing instead of choosing, this class is for you.
In this class, we’ll break down the why behind hair color—not just what to use, but how to think. We’ll dive into formulation fundamentals, understanding when to reach for acidic vs. alkaline color, how pH impacts the hair, and how to create formulas that feel intentional and hold up over time.
We’ll also focus on brunette and warmer formulations as we move into fall as well as how to create richness, depth, and longevity without formulas going muddy, flat, or hollow.
We’ll be working with Areté color, a line I align with for its performance, longevity, and intentional formulation, while focusing on concepts you can apply behind the chair no matter what line you use.

INTERESTED IN SHADOWING?
I’m offering in-salon shadow days for stylists who want to see how I actually work and think behind the chair. You’ll spend the day with me observing real consultations, real formulations, and real-time problem-solving — nothing staged. I’ll talk through my decisions, explain the why, and answer questions as we go.
This is for stylists who want more consistency, confidence, and a better understanding of how hair really behaves in everyday salon situations.
In my role as lead artist for Areté, I create the education for the brand as well as teach, and train the trainers. I also, truly love how the products perform, and admire Areté for their cleaner hair color mission. I basically get paid to do what I love at a higher level for a company that I align with. What a dream, right?
