Not just what to use, but how to think. We’ll break down formulation, understanding when to reach for acidic vs alkaline color, how pH impacts the result, and how to build formulas that actually hold up over time. We’ll also spend time working through brunettes and warmer tones as we move into fall, focusing on how to anchor your formulas so they feel rich, intentional, and long-lasting instead of hollow or unpredictable. We’ll be working with Areté color, a line I align with for its performance, longevity, and intentional formulation, while focusing on concepts you can apply behind the chair no matter what line you’re using. This is less about memorizing formulas and more about developing the kind of decision-making that makes everything else easier behind the chair. Seats are limited to keep the experience intentional and allow for questions and discussion.
